Shiny Hunt - Fishing

Program Description

This program will shiny hunt by fishing with a pre-registered rod.

Instructions

Switch Settings:

1. Screen size: Must be 100% within the Switch settings
2. Switch 2: All HDR options must be disabled.

Program Settings:

1. Video Resolution: 1080p or higher

Game Settings:

1. Text Speed: Fast
2. Battle Scene: Off
3. Button Mode: Help
4. Frame: Type 1

Other Setup:

1. Your lead Pokemon must be faster than your target and/or must have a Smoke Ball. This ensures you can flee successfully.
2. Your lead must not be shiny.
3. (Optional) For faster resets, your lead does not have any abilities or items that activate on entry.

Instructions

1. Stand in front of fishable water.
2. Register the desired rod in your key items bag.
3. Make sure you are safe from getting attacked by trainers.
4. Start the program in game. Make sure the device is the connected controller.

Options

Bite Wait (ms)

Controls delay between casting the rod and pressing A.

The value adjusts automatically while running to improve bite timing.

Typical range:

2400 – 4200 ms

Default:

3000 ms

Adjust only if encounters consistently fail.

Go Home when Done:

After finding a shiny, go to the Switch Home to idle. Turn this off for unattended streaming so that your viewers can see the shiny.
