Friendship Farmer

Program Description

Farm friendship to evolve Pokémon using a Café or a Bench.

At the time of creating this, friendship in Pokémon LZA is only used for friendship-based evolutions. This happens at a friendship of 160. There are two options for automating your friendship standing, visiting a café or hanging out on a bench. To learn more about friendship in ZA: https://www.serebii.net/legendsz-a/friendship.shtml

Visiting a café is faster than hanging out on a bench for a single Pokémon. However, it costs money while sitting on a bench is free. A drink at a café can cost $250 to $100,000, the recommended café (Café Rouleau) costs $360. To learn more about the different cafés: https://www.serebii.net/legendsz-a/cafés.shtml

It takes ~13.5 minutes to evolve a full party using the café method. The bench method will only take ~7 minutes to evolve a full party as all party members gain standing simultaneously. If you only want to evolve a single Pokémon the café method only takes ~2.2 minutes.

Instructions

Switch Settings:

  1. Screen size: Must be 100% within the Switch settings
  2. Switch 2: All HDR options must be disabled.

Program Settings:

  1. Video Resolution: 1080p or higher

Café Method

  1. Have enough money to pay for all the drinks. The program will not detect if you are out of cash.
    • Using Café Rouleau it would take $2,160 to evolve a single Pokémon. This café is located on the southern wall of Wild Zone 9.
  2. Have the Pokémon you want to gain friendship with in your party.
  3. Face the employee standing in front of a café.
  4. The program will work left to right gaining friendship for each member.

Bench Hang Out Method

  1. Have the Pokémon you want to gain friendship with in your party.
  2. Face a bench.
    • The bench should be in a safe spot. A bench without risk of Pokémon or Battles if the time switches to night. Also ensure outside the range of NPC interactions. Most Pokémon Centers have a bench outside that fits these criteria.

Evolve - Will gain friendship until the Pokémon reach 160+ friendship standing. Maximum - Will gain friendship until the Pokémon reach 255+ friendship standing.

Number of Party Members (only used for café method)

The number of party members to gain friendship standing starting with the selected Pokémon and moving from left to right.
